About Us
Home
Greetings from Danielle and Michael, your friendly neighborhood Sheltie lovers! We currently live in Bucks County, PA in a small home with a nice sized fenced in yard. We are what you could call "highschool sweeathearts" and we have been married for 8 years.

We are a Christian family that pursues compassion, kindness, honesty and love in all we do. Our son, Aiden Michael just turned 2 in April 2010. Despite being Autistic he is an intelligent, energetic (and trouble-making) toddler who has brought great joy (and exhaustion!) into our home and we thank the Lord for blessing us with him. We are also expecting our second baby boy who is due to arrive November 2, 2010 and though we know we will have our hands full we are blessed to be expecting this new addition!

Our other "children" a group of lively but laid back, loving and friendly Shelties. I (Danielle) was first introduced to shelties when I was very young. Close friends of my family as well as my Aunt and Uncle had shelties at the time. I fell in love with the breed: their spirit, their personalities, their gentle and loving nature. I hoped that one day I'd have the joy of owning my own Sheltie.
Shortly after we married we bought our home and began doing rescue work for many different breeds of dogs. About a year later we began the search for our own little sheltie. In 2005, Our Male Sheltie, Rusty's Fairview Cody, or Cody as we know him, was our first sheltie addition.

If you have heard the expression about shelties that you can't have just one, well it's true! We fell more in love with the breed and at that point decided that we would like to become a hobbie sheltie breeder. And what can we say, our little family grew from there. Currently our "family members" include 1 male sheltie and 4 female shelties and from time to time we do a stud service for another breeder. They are all like our children and a dear part of family. They basically rule our house and us! But we wouldn't have it any other way.
We do not have a kennel or any sort of outdoor area for keeping our dogs. (See note below) Though we have  fenced in yard for their enjoyment and excerise, we consider all of our canines to be part of our family, and therefore they live inside our home with us and our son.

All of our dogs have their own crate for sleeping which they are well adjusted to. Whenever we have a litter of puppies which we deliver ourselves, they are also raised inside our home. We handle them from day one and every day from then on out.

We really love raising litters of puppies. We socialize them extensively with people and children, the adult dogs and cats. We spend a great deal of time with our puppies and we believe it shows in the quality of socialization, temperament and personalities that develop in all of our puppies. We have never had a family that has puchased a puppy from us ever say that their sheltie was shy!  We do not overbreed our dogs and we typically skip every other heat, which is why we have only an average of 3 litters a year.
We do not show our dogs or involve them in agility or other such "competitions." Though are dogs are well trained and we do have some championship bloodlines and show quality shelties, we believe that our time is better spent with our families, spending time with all our pets, and devoting as much time as possible into raising our puppies with TLC.

Though we do not genetically test our parent dogs, something we hope to be able to do in the near future, all our dogs are healthy , up to date on shots and vet visits, licensed and well taken care of. We do not breed for other people to breed our puppies (though this is something we consider for the right family) nor do we breed for show quality. Though some of our puppies are show quality, our goal in breeding is just to produce a wnderful pet.

We want our buyers to feel completely comfortable when purchasing a puppy from us, as it is a very important decision. We strive to go above and beyond what many people may do in ways like allowing visits with the puppies beforehand, holding puppies for a necessary time for a buyer, leaving work to arrange meetings with potentional buyers, including a puppy package with every puppy and a 30 day health guarantee, offering breeder support and even free dogsitting in our home to any of our buyers. We hope that for these reasons, you will consider us in your search for your perfect sheltie puppy.
Welcome to Aiden Michael! Born 4/25/08

Please Note:
We are not a licensed kennel because we are considered a hobby breeder: we are in compliance with local and state requirements and we do not go over the limit of the number of puppies we produce and sell. What we do is humane and legal, we have been inspected and approved by the state dog warden. If anyone has any questions or concerns regarding this you may feel free to contact us. Thank you.
